The rumours are true… I’m working with Numenta. I’ve been silent for a while not because i can’t talk about the work (i can – at least i think so), but because there is just a ton of work to do. I hope to have some new posts up over the next few weeks.

why aren’t you active on the numenta forum
My work there is pretty much exclusively software engineering on the product, not to do with research or development on the algorithms, so i’m likely not the best person to talk to if you want to know about the CLA. If you want to know about the product, well, at the moment you need to be a beta customer, and if you are you already have at least one contact (not me). Finally, i don’t need to ask questions on the forum because i can just walk over to anyone’s desk.
On the other hand, i believe i have the first real implementation of an HTM that achieves what Jeff describes in his book. (The CLA does not – it is not hierarchical.) I’m still working on it, but it’s quite exciting to see it working the way it is.
